A meaningful gift, something rare, or something given by someone we love – we handle it differently. We protect it. We treasure it. We recognise its worth.

But what about Jesus?

As our Matthew series continues, Jesus turns the tables on the religious leaders who have been questioning Him all along. With one simple question, He exposes a deeper issue – how easily people can stand close to the truth without recognising its true value.

This message invites you to pause and reconsider who Jesus really is, and what that means for how we respond to Him. Click to listen to the latest instalment in our Matthew series and discover why recognising Jesus rightly changes everything.

The forward pass, the offside line, the try. However, few of us have ever taken the time to study the full rule book. We learn just enough to follow along and enjoy the match.

It’s easy to treat faith the same way – picking up a few familiar ideas, learning the rhythms of church, and assuming we’ve understood the essentials.

As our Matthew series continues, Jesus is asked a question about the law – one meant to draw Him into a debate about rules and priorities. But His answer cuts through the noise in a way no one expected, revealing something far deeper about what God has always been after.

This message invites you to step back and reconsider what truly matters in a life of faith. They sounded right. They felt familiar. And over time, we assumed we had truth figured out. But what happens when a confident belief is built on a misunderstanding?

As our Matthew series continues, Jesus is asked a clever question about the future – one meant to expose the limits of faith and make hope seem unrealistic. Instead of debating details, Jesus tells a much bigger story. One that reaches back through history and quietly asks whether we’ve underestimated both the truth… and the God behind it.

This message invites you to rethink what you believe about life, death, and what comes next – and why the faithfulness of God still matters today. Click to listen and rediscover a hope grounded not in slogans, but in the life-changing power of God.

Our time is divided, our attention fragmented, and even our best intentions feel crowded out by what’s loudest and most urgent.

As our Matthew series continues, Jesus is drawn into a tense exchange about money and authority – but what unfolds reaches far deeper than taxes. Beneath the surface, a much bigger question is being asked: when everything is competing for you, who – or what – truly has claim over your life?

This unmissable message speaks directly to the exhaustion of modern life, gently challenging what we give ourselves to and why it matters. Months of expectation, a sense that something special is coming, and when the day arrives, everyone knows it matters how you respond – and how you show up.

In the next instalment of our Matthew series, Jesus tells a story that begins with celebration and generosity, but quickly exposes how easy it is to misunderstand the invitation altogether. What starts as joy turns searching, revealing that being invited is one thing – being ready is another.

Click to listen and discover what our King freely provides, why His invitation is far more gracious than we imagine, and what it means to respond in a way that leads not to exclusion, but to lasting hope and belonging.

Assuming there will be time to deal with it later. Expecting patience without ever asking what it’s for.

As our Matthew series continues, Jesus tells a story that sounds simple on the surface – but it carries a sharp edge. We show up. We say the right things. We know the language. From the outside, everything appears healthy – even impressive.

But what if appearances aren’t enough? What if Jesus is far more concerned with what’s happening beneath the surface than what anyone else can see? As our Matthew series continues, Jesus tells a story that seems harmless – until you realise it’s aimed much closer to home than you expected.

Click to listen to and allow Jesus’ words to search, challenge, and realign your heart. This is a message you won’t want to miss, and one worth sharing with anyone who yearns for a faith that’s genuine, not just superficial.

Eventually, excuses run out, performance reviews turn serious, and, if nothing changes, the role gets terminated.

In this moment of Matthew’s Gospel, Jesus uses that same unsettling logic to confront the misuse of the church. He exposes what happens when God’s people look busy and impressive on the outside, yet fail to live out the purpose they were entrusted with. It’s a sobering warning: appearance is not the same as fruit, and activity is not the same as allegiance.

This message is for anyone who cares about what it truly means to be a Christian, is searching for a faith that truly matters, or senses that God is calling His people back to alignment with His purposes. It’s both a wake-up call and an invitation – to move from show to substance, and from familiarity to faithfulness.

Click to listen to the latest sermon and discover why purpose matters to God, what it means to bear real fruit, and why Jesus refuses to allow His church to drift from its calling.

Others change everything the moment they’re spoken.

We instinctively know the difference. We stay quiet about opinions that don’t help—but we speak up when silence would cost someone something important. So where does the Gospel belong? Private belief… or public truth?

As we return to our Matthew series, the story reaches a decisive moment. Jesus moves from carefully controlling how His identity is revealed to making it unmistakably public in Jerusalem. The timing is deliberate. The message is risky. And the consequences are unavoidable.

Click to listen to the latest sermon and uncover why Jesus chooses this moment to speak so clearly and what His boldness exposes about how we live, believe, and follow Him today.

But what if the path to true greatness isn’t up, but down?

In this next part of our Matthew series, Jesus redefines what it means to be great. As He walks toward the cross, He flips success on its head – while others reach for power, He reaches for a towel, while the world celebrates dominance, He chooses the posture of a servant.

It’s a kind of greatness the world still can’t make sense of. This message will make you question everything you thought you knew about success – and invite you to discover a Kingdom where the way up begins by kneeling down.

What if His kingdom runs on something far more surprising… and far more freeing?

This message will help you find the peace that comes when you stop striving and start resting in God’s grace – and encourage you to show that same grace to those around you. Sex and marriage are simultaneously seen as nothing important and as everything that matters. Jesus rejects both those views but instead calls us to cultivate a deeply counter-cultural attitude.

In our latest sermon, we see the worldly mindset reflected in the Pharisees’ questions to Jesus: always looking for loopholes, limits, and escape clauses. But Jesus refuses to play that game. He points us back to God’s original design – a vision for sex, marriage, and singleness that is higher, deeper, and far better than anything the world offers.

This message will confront cultural lies, challenge how you see relationships, and invite you into God’s better way – whether you’re single, married, or still figuring out what’s next.

After the high of the view comes the reality of the climb back down: mountains of laundry, finances, health struggles, or problems you just can’t seem to shake.

Jesus said if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can move mountains. A fraud? A prophet? A nobody?
Ask a hundred people who they think Jesus is, and you’ll get a hundred answers. But what if the real answer is something far bigger than you’ve ever imagined?
For over 2 000 years, billions have followed Him, and nations have been transformed by His words, and yet, what you think about Him might not be the most important question.
In our latest Matthew series message, we dig into ancient Scriptures, uncover clues from the Old Testament, and confront the question that could redefine your life: "Who do you say I am?”
You might think you know Him. But do you? Listen to the sermon and find out.

Discover Jesus:https://stmarks.churchtrac.com/card/132

You slow down, hoping He’ll say, “Turn here… go there… stop now”, but instead, you feel more lost and unsure.

Here’s the comforting truth: God hasn’t left you to figure it out alone.

When we live in a world of tiered memberships where banks, gyms, and reward cards all offer benefits based on performance, it's no surprise that many of us carry that same mindset into our relationship with God, quietly wondering: Do I even qualify for His help or blessing?
In this message from our Matthew series, we meet a woman who had every reason to feel unworthy. She had the wrong background, a painful history, and no religious credentials, and yet, she boldly approaches Jesus.
Discover what her story reveals about grace, faith, and how membership in God's Kingdom really works.

But have you ever stopped to ask: What if the greatest danger isn’t what’s around us... but what’s within us?
This morning’s message takes a closer look at how easy it is to appear spiritually "clean" while quietly drifting from God. You can follow the rules, do all the right things, and still miss the one thing that really matters.
Join us as we unpack this challenging but necessary sermon on what it truly means to be clean in God’s eyes.

The reality is… it doesn’t. We face real challenges. And even though we know who Jesus is, most days we barely have enough faith to trust Him with our daily needs – let alone the big storms.

But what if Jesus meets us right there – in our weakness, in our fear, in our need?

This week’s message invites us to rethink how we see His compassion and power – and what happens when we dare to cry out to Him.
Tap to listen and be reminded: Sometimes all it takes is a whisper of faith… and He comes walking through the storm.

It’s not always because they’re uninterested. Sometimes, they think they already know who He is, and they've already made up their minds.
In this week's message from Matthew, we examine two stories in which Jesus is rejected before He even speaks. Not because He lacked truth… but because people couldn’t see past their assumptions.
Sound familiar?
If you’ve ever struggled to share your faith or felt shut down before the conversation even started, this message is for you.
Listen now and discover what’s really standing in the way of people hearing the truth – and how you can respond with wisdom and courage.

Many people drift through life without realising that a dragnet is already in the water, slowly closing in. Every person will be caught up and sorted – and while some will be found ready, many won’t.
Ignoring the warning has eternal consequences.
In the latest sermon in our Matthew series, we’re reminded that Kingdom work isn’t for a select few – it’s a calling for every believer. And just like you wouldn’t trust an untrained surgeon with your eyes, your role in God’s Kingdom demands real training and discipleship.
Are you prepared for what’s ahead?
Will you help others be ready too?
