Financial security. Healthy relationships. Enough margin to enjoy life without constantly worrying about what comes next.

Deep down, we long for a world without struggle, disappointment, or suffering. The question is: if God wants good for His people, why doesn't life always feel that way?

As our Leviticus series draws to a close, we encounter a passage that forces us to wrestle with blessing, obedience, and the consequences of living out of step with God's design.

Because perhaps the good life isn't simply about getting what we want… but understanding what God has always wanted for us.

This final message is both comforting and challenging, reminding us that even in a broken world, God's desire to bless His people has never changed.

Join us for the concluding instalment of our Leviticus series and discover why obedience may be more closely connected to flourishing than we realise.

Disjointed, uneasy, and hard to stay with. Life can feel the same when something deeper is out of sync.

From the opening pages of Scripture, God established a pattern for human life – work and rest, movement and stillness, engagement and worship. Not as a restriction, but as a design woven into creation itself. Yet most of us rarely stop long enough to ask whether we’re still living in step with it.

This week in our Leviticus series, we are confronted with a question that feels uncomfortably relevant to modern life. Because it’s possible to be doing everything expected of you… and still be out of rhythm with the way you were made to live.

Join us as we step into this conversation about sacred rhythms – and what it might reveal about the pace of your life today.

Preacher: Dylan Marais

Sunday Morning

Date: 31st May 2026

Passage: Leviticus 16:1-22

-------------------

We’ve all watched television shows where homes become overwhelmed by clutter and grime, until the people living in them no longer recognise the extent of the mess.

Leviticus invites us to see a deeper parallel in our own lives. Sin is not always obvious or isolated – it spreads, lingers, and becomes something we can grow accustomed to without realising its impact.

This raises a confronting question: what if spiritual uncleanness is more present in our lives than we are aware of?

In this next message, we explore Old Testament cleansing laws and discover how they point beyond ritual to something far greater in Jesus Christ. Where the law highlighted the depth of the problem, the gospel reveals God’s provision to truly cleanse and restore.

This is a timely reminder of what it means to be made clean and to live daily in the freedom made possible through Christ’s atonement.

A picture of separation, restoration, and a God willing to come near to those whom everyone else kept at a distance.

Because the story of Scripture isn’t about people climbing their way back to God… It’s about God coming to cleanse what we never could.

This next message is deeply hopeful for anyone carrying shame, guilt, or the weight of feeling spiritually unclean. Lean in – and share it with someone who needs reminding that restoration is still possible.

Because what you consume doesn’t just shape your body – it shapes your heart, your mind, your desires, and ultimately, the direction of your walk with God.

The uncomfortable truth is that we’re constantly feeding ourselves something. The question is: is it making you spiritually healthy… or slowly poisoning you?

Leviticus 11 uncovers why God cared so much about what His people consumed – and why that still matters in a world where we absorb more than ever before.

This next message is deeply practical, surprisingly confronting, and more relevant to your daily life than you might expect.
Listen now… and share it with someone trying to navigate what’s good, true, and worth taking in.

You want barriers around high voltage. Because deep down, we know some things are too dangerous to approach carelessly.

Leviticus reveals that the same is true of God — and that’s exactly why He made a way for sinful people to draw near to Him safely.

The question is: are you approaching Him the right way?

This next message is confronting, hopeful, and more relevant than you might expect. Because God doesn’t wait for you to be worthy… He makes you ready.

So the question is: are you still holding back… or stepping into what He’s already called you to?

Lean in – this one might change how you see your purpose.

But what if the real issue isn’t what’s on the outside… but what’s going on underneath?

Leviticus confronts something we’d rather avoid: sin isn’t just what you do – it’s in you. Not just the obvious failures, but the ones you don’t even notice. And without a way to deal with it, you wouldn’t escape it… You’d be carrying it, day after day.

Which raises a bigger question: what actually makes someone clean?

The next message in our series doesn’t avoid that tension – it walks straight into it… and what it reveals might be more freeing than you expect.
